Trek through Sedona’s history, landscape and energy.
– review of The Outback Tour (Sedona, Arizona).
Sedona is a picturesque landscape filled with epic red rocks and is a geological dreamscape. Arizona Safari Jeep Tours gives you the up-close and personal experience to drive through some of the most beautiful areas as rich in history as they are in beauty. These Jeep Tours are small so they can be intimate and personalized to fit your liking and needs.
Having my mother with her bad knees and my 22-month old son with me, I opted for the Outback Trail. This was the perfect tour that fit our needs and then some. Half of the tour is remarkable due to its incredible scenery, but the other half is due to its expert guides. Our guide, Brandt, was one of the most knowledgeable guides I’ve ever had. Everything we saw had a story and some significance. Every question we had was answered kindly with unsurpassed wisdom. Brandt drove us up to the massive Thunder Mountain and gave us some history on Walt Disney himself and showed us the parts that became a blueprint for the Thunder Mountain ride in Disney World. We got a great vantage point of Chimney Rock and saw it from the side as well making three fingers, which represented a peace between the three tribes. The Outback Tour took us past Bear Mountain and all the popular trails like Devil’s Bridge, Fay Canyon Trail and Boynton Canyon Trail. We saw magnificent rock formations like Snail Rock, Old Indian Woman and Thumb Rock, also known as Schnebly’s Knob.
