A new eatery is changing the way people eat and socialize.
-review of Crate Grand Opening (Miami).
Crate is the first plant-based kitchen, bar and lounge in Miami. Although, there is no meat on the menu, the restaurant still appeals to meat lovers with options like vegan style bacon cheeseburgers and buffalo wings made with cauliflower. This new spot couldn’t have come at a better time, especially with a lot of people watching documentaries like What the Health. In turn, more people are becoming vegan, vegetarian or just being more cautious of what they eat. Now, they have somewhere they could go and still enjoy that nightlife.
As soon as you stepped into Crate’s opening, the outside had a relaxing atmosphere for guests to sit and talk and enjoy Downtown Miami night air. However, inside the venue was where the party vibes really began with a DJ mixing up plenty of jams for the crowd. Adding to the theatrics, an oversize LED screen spelling out Crate was placed on the side of the room to add to the flair while white banquette seats surrounded the outer parts of the venue. From the entrance, everyone could see a ball chandelier hanging from the ceiling over the bar’s white countertops.
Throughout the night, servers brought over large appetizers like tacos and burgers, which seemed to disappear in a matter of minutes. As a little taste of what to expect, it should be assumed that people will be clamoring to get another bite.
Overall, the opening was a success. It gave people an idea of what they are going to experience at Crate’s nightlife. People can enjoy a much healthier option and have a social outing at the same time.
