This years “Jerk Festival” was a pleasure for the palate.
The cookout of the Caribbean featured all of the classic island dishes consisting of Jerk chicken, oxtails, brown stew curry, curry chicken, goat and beef and chicken patties. However, it was also a pleasure seeing a vast majority of small businesses that were impacting the community with several services and products. Outside of food and the small businesses there, attendees were excited to see performances by some legendary reggaes artists. The combination of the music, food and pure energy in the air made it a beautiful experience.
