Jake Miller brings his “Back to the Start tour” to Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale.Every day is a great day, especially when you live in South Florida, but unfortunately not everybody got to enjoy one of the most anticipated concerts to come around. Warner Bros. Records own Jake Miller truly brought the party and gave his fans one hell of a great night. However, before he even hit the stage the crowd was getting fired up by the opener, The Stolen. I can’t recall a time I’ve seen an opening band get so much love. The fans seemed to swallow up everything the band did.
As the night continued, the time was here and the wait was over. Light’s fluttered throughout the stage while fans from all over came together and screamed Jake Miller’s namesake. And just like that he appeared with his authentic smile and fun-filled energy. The excitement was absurd. The venue was flooded with a wave of absolute nuttiness, just massive amounts of energy. Feeding off the crowd, Jake made a point to play his most requested and revered song, Palm Blvd from his new album 2:00 Am in LA. The song, which is a serious case of home sickness, was inspired by a street he lived on in Weston.
Jake Miller just knows how to WOW his fans. Tonight, really was no different as he catered to them with a catalog of fan-favorites including: Collide, Dazed and Confused, Can’t Help Myself and Hollywood. However, I must say his closing song, Overnight, was by far the best song of the night. It was such a cool spectacle seeing fans come together in unison and sing along with him. The concertgoers truly adored him and he seemed to just embody that love. In fact when the lights started to illuminate the venue, Jake took a selfie with the crowd, then posted it on Instagram ‘cause there isn’t any other place to enjoy and make your final tour stop than South Florida.
